Consents Part 1

Disclosure of data to class and school parent representatives *

For school operations, it is helpful to create a phone list in each class to share certain information between parents/students. We need your consent to pass on such a list containing name, address, phone number, and email address to all students belonging to the class. School parent representatives receive your names and address data from the school to perform their duties only if you provide written consent.

Disclosure of data to the school photographer *

In our school, we allow a school photography company to take individual and class photos of your children. Participation in this photo session is voluntary and depends on your own decision. The photographer provides us with these photos, which we only use for internal school operations and do not pass on. To create a student ID card, we provide the photographer with your child's first and last name, date of birth, and class. This student ID card has a barcode and is also used for borrowing school books. We need your consent for this.

Transfer of usage and administration rights to the school support association *

The usage and exploitation rights to works created by students during their schooling at Wilhelm-Raabe-Schule are transferred to the school support association if the students do not collect the works from the school within four weeks after the statutory retention periods expire. If you are interested in keeping the works created by your child during their school time (e.g., pictures from art class), please collect them within the statutory retention periods. Otherwise, all rights are transferred to the school support association, which will then utilize (possibly dispose of) the works. After the deadline, you or your child can no longer claim these items and/or assert claims for damages.

Our school has a library. Borrowing is managed via software, for which children's data is stored. For your child to participate in borrowing, we need your consent to store the data in the library.

Consent for publishing photos/names on the school homepage *

We would like to post photos of our school activities (especially open days, school festivals, excursions, project weeks, ...) on the school's own homepage (https://wilhelm-raabe-schule.de) to bring our website to life.

For this reason, we ask for your consent as legal guardians to publish photos showing your child on our homepage. The publication of your child's first and last name also requires consent.

Since the website is freely accessible, we cannot guarantee that the published photos will not be copied and/or distributed by third parties. However, our school will not pass them on to third parties without your separate consent.
